      Ad Schalkx (1958)

With a background in mechanical engineering, Ad Schalkx founded Metron in 1990. His main focus is on the natural development of people and work. Based on his experience with experience-oriented learning settings, he enjoys developing client-oriented development programs for each layer within an organization. He works together with the University of Nijenrode on Personal and Organizational Development and Change. Because he likes to keep in touch with advances in industrial technology, he also teaches Industrial Statistics and Continuous Improvement at Stichting Mikrocentrum in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

    For the MetronGroup he is:
  • Program manager of an International Management Development Program, executed in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific

  • Program manager of cultural changes in organizations and activities focusing on efficiency, also in Eastern Europe

  • Developer of programs and experience-oriented settings: business-simulations, political games, outdoor-settings

  • Developer of large-scale settings focusing on experiences (for groups of 151, 176 to 230 people)


He has considerable experience within the industrial sector, as well as within the healthcare and financial sector and with training centers.
